Within the Walls
Intra Muros, A latin word meaning "within the walls" was the title of a book published in 1898 and tells the story of a woman who went through the death process. It is the record of her experience between Time and Eternity. The book was written by Rebecca Ruter Springer who experienced this "crossing over" and said ,"If I can only dimly show the close linking of the two lives— the mortal with the divine—as they then appeared to me, I may be able to partly tear the veil from the death we so dread, and show it to be only an open door into a new and beautiful phase of the life we now live.” It is the objective of Haunted Tours of Little Rock to show you places located in the city’s Historic District, The Quapaw Quarter, where our prominent citizens once lived…….and some still do. Knowing that the possibility of removing that wall or veil does exist do we dare question our own mortality?
